Confidential counseling outside the main VA system for combat veterans, MST survivors, and their families.

Vet Centers are small storefront clinics, not hospitals, staffed largely by veterans. Services are free and do not require VA enrollment or a service-connected disability rating.

Care includes individual and group counseling, bereavement support for surviving family members, and help connecting to other VA benefits.
