Trans-specific mental health and crisis care

Trans Lifeline and the World Professional Association for Transgender Health on care designed by and for trans communities.

Trans Lifeline7 min read

Trans Lifeline is a peer-run hotline staffed entirely by trans operators, with an explicit non-coercive policy (no non-consensual active rescue). It is the longest-standing peer-led crisis line in the trans community.

Worth reading alongside WPATH Standards of Care v8 (linked elsewhere in this library) for the clinical context, and Point of Pride for material-aid programs (HRT access funds, surgery funds, free binders).
