Sleep Foundation's insomnia hub is one of the better consumer resources for chronic insomnia. It is clear that CBT-I (cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia) — not medication — is the recommended first-line treatment in every major guideline.

Useful for anyone whose first step has been Ambien or Z-drugs and who has not been offered the treatment that actually works.
