Hearing Voices Network — peer support for psychosis and voice-hearing

An international peer-led network that approaches voice-hearing and unusual experiences without requiring a particular medical framing.

Hearing Voices Network USA7 min read

The Hearing Voices Network was founded in the Netherlands in the late 1980s and now operates internationally. It runs peer-support groups for people who hear voices, see visions, or have other experiences typically labeled psychotic — without requiring that members accept or reject any particular diagnostic framework.

A useful alternative or complement to clinical care, particularly for people whose experiences are not destabilizing but who lack a community to make sense of them with.
