NIMH's autism page is one of the few federal resources that addresses adults as well as children. It is appropriately cautious about treatments, clear that no medication treats core autism, and honest about the high rates of co-occurring anxiety, depression, and ADHD.
For adults pursuing late diagnosis, the page is a sober alternative to social-media accounts that conflate trait recognition with formal diagnosis.
